Fintech platforms get pulled up for distributing BluSmart

Is this fair for distributors to get pulled up like this in case the company defaults? Of course ,they made fat fees. So did the wealth managers who bought from these platforms and sold it to their HNIs. Are they not to be blamed because their clients are HNIs?
