Finaly, A much awaited move... Anyhow I beleive this sector is doomed 💀☠️

To be honest, I want atleast 3 major players,

One good thing gov can do is inject fund in VI, or totally acquire it (Kinda BCCI type - semi autonomous)

Now an argument will come that if gov acquires VI then sarkari babu will ruin it. But when gov decides to do something big with any company they are really excellent at it. (Because they can bend the rule)

Eg:
SBI - Slow but giant and note printing machine.

VI and BSNL are still in game.

Without government support none of them can survive.

It's not only about money.

Even a policy tweak can help a lot.

VI is King in 2g 3g.

Jio don't have 2g 3g

BSNL is King in optical fibre and jio Airtel rents it from BSNL.

10y ahead, 6G, satellite based internet will be prevalent so future is bright and 4 players will be there
