Finally Resigned

Guys, I have finally resigned last week.

I am the most critical resource in my Project, the client is already worried about my resignation. Yet I was not given any salary hike last year, my Band was A. Reason - WFO non compliance - I asked for wfh for my wife's pregnancy. But I did work, made our failing project a success, helped TCS getting the support contract.

I asked for WFH for child care, it was denied by some guy who is not my manager, not project manager. He is micromanaging everyone. He is more focused on HR stuff rather that actual deliveries.

Even if TCS wants to retain me by anymeans, I am not going to take it, the company where I am going to has 2 days WFO, the offer is very good. Variable pay is less.

Moreover I am very much surprised by the basic pay here. My monthly gross salary is 1.23 lacs, My basic pay is only 15.8k. There is a labour law, basic should not be less than 50% of gross. This eats our PF contributions from both sided. I know if this is implemented, our inhand will be reduced by 12-15k but isn't that money invested? And why TCS is exempted from this? The company I am going to will be paying 8k per month as PF contribution and that is outside my ctc.

Conclusion- Get out of TCS guys. I gave my everything to TCS and making my project a successful delivery. But in the end nobody will take a stand for you. They will simply eat and profit on you hard earned money in name of some shifty HR policies.
