On my way back from the office and it started thundering and drizzling. Got me real excited and I didn’t mind getting a little drenched on my bike.
But the excitement to see the first proper rains was quickly outdone by the horror of Bangalore’s almost impressively bad sewage system back in action. It only gets worse, to see the first rains immediately turn to sludge and the dirty water spray around, when they hit the dirt laden streets and the traffic completely choked due to bad roads was a nightmare to drive through.
Getting wet in the rain seemed a mistake. Idk if anything will make this city get off this doomed trajectory it’s on.
