Final Year student

I was preparing for Product roles for quite some times, But as far as i am seeing software engineers are paid more, so shoud i start preparing for software domain now or stick to the product role.

Later you can transition to product and I don't see the other way around happening a lot

Both roles pay great at the top but which one do you think you can climb up better on is the question.
