Final Year, No Internship, and a Lot of Fear.

I’m in my final year of mechanical engineering, and honestly, finding an internship that pays even ₹10,000 — just enough for living and transportation — has been close to impossible.

This has me worried about the bigger picture: if internships are this tough to get, how realistic is it to expect a proper job after graduation? I have the skills, I’ve done the projects, but it feels like that doesn’t matter when the opportunities themselves aren’t there.

If anyone knows of opportunities or even advice on how to break this cycle, I’d really appreciate it.

I did my graduation in civil engineering in 2017. But life pushed me towards IT . And I am glad it happened. I see most of my friends from core branch , their life is on the challenging side . You can prepare for MBA or Gate
