Final Settlement advise

I got lay off from tcs on september 1 ,2025 . Till now I haven’t receive severance pay and experience letters. After so many follow ups , they have send final settlement letter today stating that I have to pay 30000 rupees as arrears . I don’t know why I should pay this amount to retrieve my experience letters. Anyone has faced this issue ? What are the ways I can proceed with ?

What the hell!! Why do you have to pay 30k? Is this for real as i heard many people getting threatened to pay in return rather than getting their final settlement amount from TCS!!

If so , you won't get severance amount. All moost all other who got have similar type written aggreement. One copy will be with them and another with you

Dont go legal way they will have team of 50,000 laywers
You best bet is
a)pay the money by taking loan if required
b)request them
C d e options will involve time money and court
