“Few” unhappy comments on my achievement
I recently posted about a small achievement in my career, I got an amazing offer post being laid-off and wait time of 4 months. Still few comments were “TC and GTFO” is this a Gen Z slang or they are unhappy that others are getting happiness in their life and sharing it here.

TC or GTFO isn’t an insult dude

Then what is it, TC is take care but GTFO is an abusive term isn’t it?

TC is total compensation here 😂. It’s similar to blind thing, where if you post something you have to mention your total compensation.

Be happy that something amazing happened in your life. Don’t expect validation from strangers or expect them to share your happiness. People are inherently bitter, especially online.

No validation, still I want to know prospective of their reply. I am happy as always.

usse validation hi Kehte hai

Also GTFO is an expression of extreme elation. Akin to "No way!"
Everyone is happy for you.

Oh is it.

TC is Total Compensation. TC or GTFO means 'tell us your salary before posting about anything else'. This is the most common reply to any post on the Blind app. 😄
But also the point is, even if a few people insult you, you shouldn't care. As you go through life 100% of the people will never be happy for you - some will be rude, some will be jealous, some will be indifferent, etc.. Ignore the haters and move on with your life - don't be so sensitive to negativity of others.

It means Total Compensation or Get The Fuck Off because people are just obsessed with money here

You're winning in life, just celebrate 🥳

Bro why are you even bothered about the comments made by random strangers on GV ! Stop chasing online validation bro not worth it 😅

Gen Z ain't so bad 😞

Nothing against Gen Z, I wanted to clarify if this is a slang used by Gen Z.

TC or GTFO :)
