Few days back one colleague got revised compensation letter with his salary increasing more than 1 lac. How it’s possible?

He hasn’t been promoted neither his grade changed. Earlier one teammate also got same revision in January but he was a ninja joinee this time it’s a digital joinee. No other member got this revision neither anyone in manegers know about it(atleast for saying)

Unit head has power to update compensation. My colleague who started spending time with senior management without any reason got a hike of 30 %.

Management can revise it under the special compensation category. I have seen people got 3 Lakhs revision.

There is no such Special compensation category. Whoever has started spreading this
Must be either jealous or envious about it. Yes there are boot lickers or puppets agreed.. but this is a huge difference in compensation which TCS cannot afford for long timers
