Trending @Capgemini; felt lagging in my first project 😕
I guys... I have recently joined in my first project.. oh God! Damn, it was about one month back. And till now, i felt like im lagging behind.
We work on spring and hibernate. Im new to spring but well familiar with spring boot. They just gave me a simple task which is to set up the projects in local system. And it's been three days, i have done only 2 out of 10 projects. Ofcourse i know how to setup the project in local system but the 8 projects have some issues with the code and i can't run that on server. So long story short, the setup is not done.
I don't know what happened to me.. its like my motivation is vanishing day by day. I felt like im useless in this project cuz im just sitting without doing any work... Even i worked on some tasks i wouldn't turn up well and productive.
I'm thinking that i should ask for relieve from the project.... But on the other side of coin, im thinking how should i leave first ever project only after one month of joining.
I couldn't express how im feeling now....
Please help me. Give some suggestions and some motivations.. so it will push me forward.
rather try talking to your lead. he/she might help or if there’s some senior colleague try to talk to them.
So what? Just express your situation. If he is supportive he will definitely help or provide some solution & it’s completely ok as your are new & it is your first project. They will definitely understand.

This application is very fine and im getting some suggestions and thoughts here.
If you don't feel motivated to work on your current project you should ask for a release. But considering the situation in the organisation, projects are very less. So I would suggest taking some time asking for a release will be an optimal way here.
