
Feels painful to be at TCS
Recruited as a railroad domain specialist at TCS 2 tears ago and being only experienced member in the domain I was tasked with 2 SOW's which I completed on time helping a team filled with 6 fresher's and 3 experienced with basic domain skills, debugging, req understand and preparing them for client reviews.
The project got over in feb this year and then I was handed a IPF rating 4.53 but C band
It is so shocking to see the hike letter wherein my personal allowance has been reduced by 18k, Gratuity, insurance and pf has been increased to show a positive hike of just 10k.
Regretting every day why did I joined here.
This hike is a joke. They have even mentioned new clause in the hike letter that the annual retention bonus that was part of my ctc can be discontinued anytime at companies discretion.
I have never received a full Variable Pay even after working so hard for last 2 years. Worked on weekends without any comp off or extra pay. Even when I was on leave on my first marriage anniversary my manager asked me to join client calls and spent 4 hours on call on the day of my marriage anniversary to help my manager prepare points for client meeting.
Rejected an outside offer of 12% thinking I would get the same here in appraisal.

I mailed my supervisor but no response from him. So finally dropped another mail to initiate my separation.

Hope you’re not the Top paying associates in your account, than that’s justified. Because most of the associates who’ve joined during COVID got 100% hike. So it’s not your performance but it’s about your colleagues who’ve been doing similar work with 50% of your paycheck.

Bro do you know what you are saying ? Just because someone joined with 100% hike they should not be given any hike even after working hard. How it is justified?? If someone else is doing same work with less pay they should also consider upgrading themselves instead of reducing someone's salary or not giving them hike. This kind of mindset in companies are not at all justified. It's just exploiting. If someone has not worked their ass off than also they get hike in many companies but here in tcs on name of justification and BS mindset they are doing these cheap tactics to exploit employees. They don't give a sht about their hard working employees and this is not at all justified. Fck tcs and every other company and person who think in same way.

So, you’re the top paying employee, who got 100% hike. 😉
Look, everyone works hard, everyone puts the same efforts, but you’re paid 2X than your colleague who stuck in the company for long time. They might have raised concerns. In these cases, TCS has only two options, Either rationalize all employees salaries (that TCS can’t afford) in the account or lower the percentage of hikes to employees who joined with 100% hike.
Whatever you say, BS or Horse shit or pig shit, TCS already reducing senior management costs, so expect more of these kind of cuts. Especially if you’re C3B and above, you’ve to face this else RESIGN.

Same story, 4.6 rating but band B, struggled day and night, worked almost all weekends since 1 year. I strongle suggest my friends not to join TCS in future. Decided to swich and hope will get a good offer.. Since I rejected Wipro even better pay than TCS just because TCS have some ethics but now I'm more regrets for this. Dam worst company with poor professiobal strategies. Cheap mindset management. Whatever happened is happened..in life such worst phase is common for all.. Will move on.

Exactly same happened with me in 2022. I has ipf rating 4.5 but got band B. I resigned that time, but somehow higher management convinced me that I would get promotion and hike around November. But nothing happened and next year I got only 6% hike with band B again. And during that time they hired 4 more team members and I had to give them KT to make business go on.
Don't expect anything, No hike/retention is Going to happen.

You have to leave tcs as soon as possible.Look opportunities outside instead of work here. I am also going to resign due same reasons

Only your family will miss if you work overtime and over the weekends. The company will replace you in a minute if they can find some better. Don’t sacrifice your time with family for carrier. Because the organisation is not your family even if they say that over and over.

Yes we all are just labours working to fulfill organizations goals. It will not even take them a second before replacing anyone
