Trending @Infosys; Feeling tensed now ... No offer on hands yet
Hi folks,
Feeling a bit stuck and tensed, so sharing my tensed mind here :
I worked 3 years in a product-based startup, building projects from scratch. In 2022, I joined Infosys as a TA with a 110% hike. In 2 years, got 2x Insta Awards, a Tech Domain Maestro award, and recently got promoted to Technology Lead via IJP.
But the new project turned out to be mostly support work — fixing issues in an old app I didn’t build. Users started blaming me, and it felt like I was just resolving tickets instead of doing real dev work. So I resigned.
It’s been a month now. Had 3 interviews — one position got filled, one needed immediate joiner, one I couldn’t crack (messed up a puzzle round — fair enough). ( Imagine getting rejected from an organization like TCS 🙂 (reason : idk all interviews went very well still got rejected)
Now it’s getting tough for me to even think about it. I really don't know if I am worth switching or I am a shitty tech engineer who will be stuck in Infosys for the rest of my life.
Currently 60 days of NP remains... Still I have made a plan to upskill more in next 15-20 days , so that any immediate joining ( 30 or less than 30 days ) opportunity comes up, will give my best..
Am I thinking too much ? 🙁

Yes, can totally relates to ur situation. Been there done that. Its a classic overthinking situation, dont worry at all. And about the tcs thing their hiring process is messed up so dont feel usrself down just bcoz u got rejected they reject candidates on shitty reasons i've myself been at tcs so telling from experience. Keep on upskilling and apprearing and think in this way that what worse will happen u will take back ur resig at the end moment and things will be same but then u can again prepare and be fully ready. Its all boil downs to one thing if universe/things are in ur favour u will anyhow got that one offer letter which u have not even thought of, so just keep giving best frm ur end and just dont overthink.

Thanks a lot for your wise words bro 🥺

Those were such encouraging words , even for me , thanks for that .. even I am in same situation

As far as TCS is considered you can give any number of interviews so no need to get disheartened

Getting rejected is a part of process ,no need to worry that much ,in last 30days you might expect calls from all possible companies. These days even after getting salary discussions and offer release ,later companies like TCS are rejecting candidates, just focus on your skills in the meantime
