Trending @Accenture; Feeling stuck in My First Project - Need Career advice

I joined Accenture in November 2025 and was assigned to a project in July. It's been about 2 months on this project and I am working as a Soc analyst My day to day activities mainly involve remediating servers and handling/ resolving tickets.

However, I am finding work uninteresting and there isn't much guidance or learning support from seniors. Honestly, I feel stuck and bored at work.

I do have a strong interest in full stack development and enjoy building projects.

So I need your advice on :

1.) Should I fully pursue full stack development and make a switch in the future. 2.) or should I give it more time to adjust since it's still early in my journey ?

Looking forward for your advice! ☺️

Hey, I would suggest that you express your interest in development and ask for guidance on that, as I was in the same situation. They initially deployed me into a support role that didn’t involve any technical work, just some routine checking. After 10–15 days in the project, I expressed my interest in development and asked for a release. However, my manager said he couldn’t release me but would instead assign me to more development-related work. So, two days ago, I was moved into the development team as a Java Developer. That’s why I suggest you first talk to your manager. If he doesn’t respond positively, then try to learn on your own, contribute to open-source projects, participate in hackathons, and add that experience to your profile as a Full Stack Developer at Accenture. That way, you can make the switch.

just to clarify, I meant November 2024 ( not 2025 ☺️ )
