Feeling stuck between job switch and side hustle — need perspective
I’m feeling a bit stuck and confused and wanted to get some outside perspective.
Currently, I’m not really happy with my job. I don’t feel connected at work — no real friends or tribe in the office — and over time it’s started to affect my motivation.
On the other hand, I really want to change jobs and explore better opportunities, but at the same time I’m also very keen on building a side hustle that I genuinely care about.
The problem is I feel mentally split — not fully invested in my current role, unsure whether to go all-in on job switching first, or try to balance things while slowly building something on the side.
Has anyone here gone through something similar? How did you decide what to prioritise without burning out or making a rushed decision?
Would really appreciate any honest advice or personal experiences.

Whats wrong in using AI ?
I strongly believe you are also using AI in your daily life
Does that make your life unreal ?
Dont be oversmart because if you dont use AI, you know you will get replaced so there is no harm in using AI for everything

Your post with AI could be summarised in a few words.
"No motivation. What to do"
Using AI vs knowing how to use AI for a readable, actionable, useful output is important.
AI in your post didn't make it easy to express, it just added superflous words. Try having a conversation with a person with the same language. Ppl will shut down.
Why should we be subjected to your bland AI output? That's just lazy usage.
Instead of running your query through AI for us to respond, why don't you ask AI for suggestions, then post it here with your thoughts, for us to respond?

Focus on the job switch with more weightage, so once u will be on notice u will get more time to focus on side hustle

Cash flow. That's the answer you are looking for.
If your side hustle is giving lower cash flow that but has a potential to make it bigger, then your current job is nothing more than a safety net untill you reach that point. Think of your manager like a stray dog. You keep saying nice doggy untill you find a stone.
If your side hustle is not so promising , then no brainer here.

I'm pissed off the moment I see em hyphens. Why do y'all need chatgpt generated content.

Do you have a side hustle? Or What side hustles are you thinking of working on?

Anyone works in capgemini here?

Look for a job, switch when you get a chance. Meanwhile try to pick a hobby and try to connect with like minded individuals.

At exactly this scenario in life and equally confused on what to do. You aren't alone.

Going through same
