I joined Cognizant recently and was auto-mapped to a project. However, I haven't received any Knowledge Transfer (KT) or training/work since then. When I asked my manager about it, she mentioned there are no open roles in the project and you can look for other opportunities. Feeling stuck and unsure about my next steps. Any advice on how to navigate this situation and ensure my growth within the company? Appreciate any insights or suggestions.

Stuck in same traffic, maine v September se join kiya h mgr project m map hone k baad v aj ki date tak kuch kaam nhi mila h. Can anyone really suggest what can someone do in such situations. Considering anyone past experience or something will be really helpful.
I was in the same phase. So I started my own company and am building another business too which is going very well right now. With in next 2 years I will be financially free. Thanks to cognizant 😂😂 which is giving me salary and free time at the same time to grow in my life.

How come you get auto mapped to a project unless there's a requirement. And if there's a requirement your supervisor would obviously know what and how to take care of things..
Not necessarily, Auto allocation does happen to fulfill the targets and that's a whole different story.
Same is happening with me, joined cognizant as a fresher in september’23 and after being mapped to a project, I haven’t been allotted any work as such. It’s actually a situation to be worried about as my 6-7 months have gone waste. You can upskill to an extent only, right? After that you do want some genuine work to do. What to do in this situation?
