Feeling low for not switching from my current job

Currently I am working in TCS with 6 years Experience. Actually I am feeling down myself down like I have not received any experience from TCS as I was worked as Support role and in one of the framework which most of the people don’t know. Now I am planning to switch but I feeling like I don’t know anything.

Now I am taking paid course for spring boot AI. I hope in coming days I will switch.

I was in the same position like you.
Thinking I won't be able to switch cause I am working on support project that too legacy application which hardly people know.... I was so comfortable with my 6 LPA job (4 years experience) and scared to even try outside thinking I can't clear interviews... I never tried for switch.

Then my company fired me (layoff) in 2020.
I was suddenly jobless and then that fear and overthinking simply went away that - How would I clear the interviews?

I had no option left but to clear the interviews.
I started studying 15 hours the very next day.
Used to get up at 4 AM to study cause there are no distractions at that time. Had no practical knowledge but only theoretical one... But I studied it so perfectly that no one can find out that I have worked only on support role.

Finally after 45 days - I landed a job in Capgemini.

Salary 8 LPA.
Less. But happy that I wasn't jobless.

Best part - I studied a lot in those 45 days.
My concepts became so clear that I wasn't scared of taking a development role even without any experience.
Gave my best to this role.
Got promoted within 11 months.

Currently I am working at a Product based company with 35 LPA package.

All thanks to that one layoff I would say.
Otherwise I would have not switched only.

All the best.
You can do it.
Just study sincerely and make a serious attempt for switch.
