Feeling Lost.....Looking for a Golang Developer Opportunity

When I joined TCS, I was forcefully allocated to an embedded project—even though I had no interest in it. Still, I gave it my all, working 12+ hours a day, including weekends whenever asked. I never said no to any task, hoping things would eventually align.

After 1.5 years, I realized there was no future for me in that role. I took a difficult step and asked for a release. It wasn’t easy—my manager made the process very tough, and even on my last day, I was working till 11 PM.

But I had already started preparing for a change. I would wake up early to learn Golang, determined to build a career in backend development. After my release, I fully focused on Golang—learning the language, frameworks, and best practices.

Then came the 35-day bench policy. Since then, I’ve been reaching out to 2–3 delivery managers every single day. Some reply, most don’t. I’ve posted on Grapevine and Knome, spoken to RMG—but still, no luck. It’s disheartening to see that despite all the effort, there seems to be no active Golang requirements.

Now I’m at a point where I’ve started overthinking. I'm scared that I might end up in a project I don’t enjoy again, or worse—stay unallocated for too long. It’s affecting my mental health, and I’m honestly struggling to stay motivated.

I’m sharing this not to complain, but just to express what I’m going through. If anyone knows of any openings for a Golang Developer or can connect me to the right people, it would really mean a lot.

If you want to stay here then there will will very very limited GoLang opportunity. GoLang was a poor choice.
