Feeling lonely, depressed and similar emotions is fine. Are you sure root cause is because you are single? You want to get married because you genuinely want to deep down? Or just because society says you need to after a certain age.

In this phase, you can go on small trips around the city with your family and engage yourself with the activities that you love that maybe any hobby or sports. When mind is diverted it will help you overcome this. Also being with the family, laughing with them provides you a sense of safe and happy place.

Buy a good drone. View the world from above. I was in ur same position when i was studying at MIT Manipal. Cultural diff, hardly any friends, loneliness, away from my friends and family. I got good marks, proved myself, convinced my parents to buy me a DJI drone which for us was a bigggg deal.. That was the best decision i took in life. Took up aerial landscape photography, saw the world from above, showed it to the world, interacted with many strangers, built good reputation, friendships. All in all a constructive thing for me!

Focus on improving yourself, and try to find a good life partner. Depression will one day go away. Don't worry.

If you want to date or marry, you have to know guys and make efforts. If you don't interact with them, you won't know.
