Trending @Wipro; Feeling like this year's appraisal is a scam

Idk why, but this year's appraisal process seems like a way to scam the employees. Ever since I heard about the mapping of L1, L2 to random people who I've never connected with, I've lost all hopes for a fair appraisal.

The L1 manager seems to be offline all day how tf am I supposed to schedule a meeting with them? Also what feedback can a third party guy provide on me, he doesn't even know what project I work on. Seems like this new mapping should only be applicable if someone switches projects in the financial year, that way the old manager cannot fuck your appraisal rating.

I feel like they are going to give a bad rating and we would be left clueless as to who gave it, was it the additional managers feedback (True manager) or was it the L1 manager or was it just based on the projects budget.

Anyone else agree with this take?
