Feeling before resignation

Does it also happen to you all that you feel a lump in your throat about talking to your manager when you are about to resign? I mean even if they have not done anything significant to make your life better? I don't understand this feeling of guilt, even if we are sure that it's for our best.

I know!! It suddenly feels you are cheating on them, technically professional terms. But hey, happens to best of us. You are good, and it is needed for growth

Its good that you feel that, not everyone does, you still have empathy, you’re human!

That being said, its a part of your career. It will happen alot, and you should not let this feeling overwhelm you or effect your decision making in any way whatsoever

Always remember, your company probably wont think twice in firing you if it helps their P&L report :)
