Feeling ashamed of joining TCS
Hi all,
I know two juniors of mine… who got salary reduced… they are really not motivated to work and they were hard and smart working.. reduced < 2 years is very stupid idea of TCS HR
I did get 30K hike, but india taxes are such I need to declare a lot to get same salary. But nor government nor companies.. no one cares of us. I have been with 4 companies they do fire employees who are not performing or project gone… but tcs even you work hard/smart still salary deduction is disappointing!!
I am going onshore hopefully salaries are good in onshore.. but now I will not work that hard… I worked like hell in tcs long hours supported juniors
But not any more.. may be stupid decision to join it..

Going onsite is the only good decision you can make here. Otherwise it's all loose loose at offshore.
By going onsite you get the benefits of the law of the land. Otherwise Indian lawmakers are only growing fat asses.
I really work hard in some projects as I was happy in the beginning
Really disappointed to employees, internal politics will hell into the TCS. TCS corporate policy can’t help to Employees. I m experience person but need to leave the TCS due to salary reduce and internal politics. No one care you higher management nor Team member
Don't let it hurt your morale. This is life, and you are in a job that doesn't work for you. You always have a choice. Remember working with motivation will take you places, just have patience. And I am not suggesting you stay with TCS. Just don't let it hurt you. You are great as you are and no one should be able to pull you down. All the best!

Welcome to reality.
TCS is just good for its brand name. Not for employee welfare.
From what I heard from my seniors, TCS is that one company that hasn't done the revision of the entry-level salary for freshers in the past one decade or even more. Junior level employees are getting paid as low as 13k/month and they expect them to live and report daily to office in cities like Bengaluru.
Buddy then switch the organization and go to product based organization! Product based companies used to provide proper amount of work with designated salary. It would be good rather going on shore
Tried that product based fired employees in case project is done… happened already 😜
