Feedback Needed on Startup Idea
Would you be willing to pay a premium of INR 50 per car/ INR 25 per bike, if we were to offer you a managed car cleaning service , where the car cleaners clean your car at a pre-decided hour every day ?
I think this model (offline) exists in residential sectors/ communities where there will be some guys(same) who will come in between 6-9 AM and clean all the cars in the community without missing the requested cars daily. They go to their customers houses and ask to unlock and get a bucket of water to clean the car. These people get paid monthly. Not sure of the exact amount(< 1k/m) but 1.5k/month is pretty high even for a gated community as they already have some highly trusted people doing it right from inception of the community.
I know you might be having multiple costs(factors) to land at 50/car/day, on the long run, it might not seem productive due to extra costs that might add up in near future.
what @Rhombus said. other than that, you’d be losing money on every order you get. operating at such a low cost won’t be feasible even for well established VC backed corporations
Thanks @Shaktimaann for the flow, also not everyday one would be cleaning their car or getting serviced unless you live in some desert or deeply under construction site.

They are doing the exact same thing.
The highest prob I see with this business is the cleaners will after some time, skip you and directly talk to the car owners and clean their cars for a lower price. And it will keep happening. The worst is you will never have a way to stop it.
Think about this first, rest all is doable.
Right, more like Uber/Ola driver asking a male passenger to cancel the ride and pay less, directly to the driver.
Checked it, this is only for Bangalore/ where people would be checking on for start-ups to test.

And also to give you a hack on how people get these offline cleaners - there would be one oldest living house in a community or sector that would be aware of local workers and these spread the word to entire society/community
Viable as a small business, not as an enterprise
Well gurgaon has more than 75 medium and large societies and this is the clientele that I am trying to cater to.
I have tested it out in my society for last couple of months and I charge 350 for small cars, 450 for medium and 750 for large cars - 50 bucks over and above what the unorganised cleaners charge - the 50 bucks are for supervision, using clean micro fibre and being water efficient
Few questions -
How many cars do you clean per week and at what frequency? How much do you pay to your cleaners per car?
How much are you left with?
Would that profit be linearly scalable taking into consideration admin and customer support costs?
We pay 700 per month for this.
If you have a vision to build automated way fo car cleaning without manual intervention and bring the cost down, then it is a startup else yours is a business idea.

This model exists. Unless you add something premium to it, won't work
As @CultureMan said some premium service is required..even being a automotive enthusiasts, i need my car to cleaned with extra care. Watchmen and those guys use the same dirty cloth on multiple cars which leaves swirl marks on car. People are ready to pay 1lac + on ppf but won't wash their car with care. I think this service is needed. Even i had this in mind. DM me if you wanna talk bout this.
