Trending @Infosys; Fed Up with My Job at Infosys: Is It Time to Resign?
I’ve been working at Infosys for over 3 years now, and honestly, I’m at my breaking point. Currently, I’m on production support, which means late-night shifts and even working on weekends. The catch? There’s no shift allowance, just compensatory offs, which don’t really make up for the extra hours and stress. To top it off, my salary has remained stagnant at 4.5 LPA despite all the effort and time I’ve put into my role. It’s frustrating, especially when you feel like you're stuck in a loop, and nothing is changing.
I’ve started giving interviews, but I’m realizing I struggle with coding and DSA, which is holding me back. At this point, I’m really torn—should I just resign and move on, or keep pushing through despite the dissatisfaction? Any advice from those who’ve been in similar situations would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately prod support is that kind of job!!! But someone has to do it!! And that someone is you on this case. If application is relatively it’s less stresffull job giving you opportunity to read and learn. Use your circumstances to your advantage else you are just digging a deeper hole for yourself

Yes I am able to learn many new things

You have the answer to your question. You have been 3 years and still doing the same work repeatedly and in no time it becomes monotonous. You will feel no interest in anything (In work/to upskill). My best advice is please stop repeating works and start thinking smart. No people out there can help you unless you show it up with unique skills and stand at first/100 people. Take a break for sometime and try to regroup your mind to face the toughest job market and analyse how you stand out there.
My best wishes to you!

Thanks, great advice

Bro, most of them are facing similar issues but be patient, stay strong, don't resign. Prepare daily for interviews attend as many interviews as possible doesn't matter you clear it or not, you will get knowledge and experience. One day you will clear interview and then you can apply for resignation. Don't worry about notice period think of attending interviews and clearing it. Don't resign without another offer letter in hand.

Thanks for the advice and support! I’ll stay patient, keep preparing, and not resign without another offer.

I would say to utilize some time to upskill. Learn some new tech and then give interviews. Meanwhile you can try IJP as well.

Don't resign untill you have another offer.
