Feature request: Anonymous Referral Queue
From what I interact with people here, I get a feeling that people are thinking for a while before sharing a resume for referral, thinking it will get their username out and will no longer be private.
Having this known to a potential employer is always a risky thing. So thinking about this, I got an idea.
Why not implement an anonymous referral queue?
People taking referrals can post in the referrals section with a JD that they're taking referrals for.
People seeking referrals can directly upload their resume under it. It won't appear to anyone else but to the one who posted a referral. Also, only the resume is sent, no username associated with it.
Additionally people can comment seeking clarifications. In that case, only show the comment and not the name of the one asked. Helps in case when only one person asked clarification and then only one resume is uploaded, it prevents guessing.
How is this? Instead of having to go and create a Google form, having it right inside GV app can be helpful.

@Micheal_Scott @UnpaidIntern Let me know what do you think about this.
Love the idea
We’ve actually been thinking about how to make referrals possible and helpful on GV As a professional app, it’s probably one of the best values we can provide.
As we build up a better referrals flow, let me make sure we consider this so people feel free to refer and get referred
Thanks a lot for sharing @tenxengineer :) 🙏🏻
Dekh raha hai vinod, naukri bhi chahiye and naam b chupaana hai! Anyway, if someone is referring then they can just add link to their LinkedIn post and the person seeking referral can go and ask him there. No one will know who from GV he/she is. Plus people should only refer someone when they actually know the candidate.
