Trending @Infosys; Fear of being laid of
I am a Verizon client of Infosys. There are some budget issues and my manager is saying that my performance is not up to mark, I joined this project 2 months ago. What will happen if i ask for the release from the project? Is there a chance of termination or PIP or being laid off ? The scrum master told initially that if someone asks for release we will release them from Infosys
Don't ask release and opt for bench.i have seen people who are billable and are on project are forced to take up PIP and forced to resign. SORRY I am not trying demoralise you.i would suggest start preparing and be better equipped to face any such situations. Best of luck

Why wouldn't they just put me on the bench ?I will find some other project
Look for opportunities outside and resign.
