The advancements are so rapid that people are finding hard time catching out. I see designer jobs getting disrupted like never before.
I work for B2B co. we just had 1 designer, we made him part time 5m back now management is thinking do we even need him?
Vibe coding is killing those jobs. More powerful models are underway.
This is example of one such role where a lot of critical thinking was involved. So scary it is becoming obsolete now.
I am worried about kids who are graduating from now on. They studied all these years just to be replaced by a bot.
Good for companies they can increase their profit margins. But for employees, it's nightmare.

Zgactly- when people run out of money and nobody can spend, whats use of all innovation. All leading to stupidity. All the money is with only 8 people in the world.
I just wonder how the financial system will work when ai takes over. Most of the big software companies are B2B like atlassian , major portion of Microsoft tools. When there would be no humans working there would be no need to tools and companies . Anybody will ask the AI to create their own apps if thats so cheap.
How would the money flow . Can someone please explain the same.

Building apps is not enough, one needs to deploy and maintain as well so that will attract costs.
TBH, you should ask why we would even need these tools in the first place. Example - Jira is for our tracking, AI can store in random places and show progress status when asked.
AI excels at what is done repetitively. It is as simple as that. Ask them complex questions and you will know the quality.
Forget programming. Ask them to write a poem/song in a certain author style and look at quality.
Trust me LLM’s are only as good as their context window sizes. Once context runs out, they spit shit left right center. Also, if people think next word predicting LLM is “AI”, then god save them. Companies who fire people under this foolish hope will pay the price later on. There will be another post covid like salary hikes once this AI idiocracy ends

I started upskilling almost 2 year ago... GenAI was the best thing that happened in my life , I had build an application which can invest/analyze /sell/ learn itself in stock market ... I have made a fortune with that application , the amount I earn yearly from my job, I can easily make more than that in a day... I will be putting my papers by the end of March..

Greed of riches , corporates are insatiable. In the name of advancement they are just creating means to maximize profit.
What's the point of using these software if can make those in my basement in a weekend or two?
You can only make mvp using ai tools in your basement.to make it feature rich and marketable you need to hire people.Also to make these ai made software more scalable, you need to make lakhs of lines in prompts.llm will start hallucinating at that point of time.
These tools are just based on probabilities and lots of stolen intellectual properties.to make a real AGI, at first some kind of biological invention should happen.I mean if some way can be invented to store millions of actively working human brain and some kind of successful interface can be developed between these and the LLM, then only proper AGI can arrive.
These are just scams going on.
