Fashion Emergency! Need advice for this event tonight
I'm going to a work event at my internship company tonight and need to impress! (PPO bells ringing in background) Want to look professional but also show some personality.
How do I strike that balance without being overdressed (or totally out of place)?

PPO will be based on your work performance. And abt fashion, confidence is the key girl. Yes grooming is also important but keep the dressing professional (subtle colours play a good role).
I agree, but I don't want to seem off place. Everyone seems very excited for this one. It would be my first 'work party'
No worries. We have whole life to attend work parties. It will be fine. Also, outfit depends on the kinda industry/company you are in. So, if you mention that then it can be answered.
You need to understand that the way fashion works is that when something happens, something else happens, or sometimes doesn't happen at the same time as the thing that happened. But when something doesn't happen, something also sometimes happens in response to the nothing happening or the possibility that something may have happened, when in fact nothing happened. It also sometimes happens that something doesn't happen but despite that something happens in response to nothing happening, so people think something happened so something else happens in response to the thing that happened because someone reacted to thinking something happened when nothing happened except the response to nothing happening.
