Far behind the peer

I always feel that people of my caliber are paid more and have accumulated more wealth at 45 years old. I am a 45 year old hotel management guy with 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry with ups and downs in my career I have worked with hotels, restaurant chains, QSR and with few domains in the hospitality industry. I am at the CTC of 42 lakhs + variable pay of 5 lakhs. I get 2.85 lac per month credited as salary. I want to understand that this is a good salary for a graduate who has 23 years of experience. how many of you graduates are getting 3 lac per month as a salary.
