Trending @Infosys; Falling short for 1 day of 10 days mandatory Work from Office

For this month I have already gone to the office for 9 straight days and now I have come back to my hometown. The thing is I will not be able to come to the office for one more day. How can I manage this? Can taking a leave work in this case?

You can apply for leave and that will work.

If I apply from the leave balance then WFH days will get reduced right?

WFH will not get reduced. Apply for Earned Leave, it will be counted as Work from Office. (Taking Leave = +1 WFO)

Doesn’t work they changed rules . Now it has to be approved by JL7

You can apply for exceptional work from home because they'll approve for 1-2 days but give them a perfect reason for that...I think wastage of EL in this case does not seem good

Leave and Holidays are considered as WFO

In apply status unknown enter intime and outtime and give reason id card not responding

For this I also completed 9 days and for one day i will apply leave. so 10 days completed

Leaves , Holidays are considered as WFO only, so you can just apply leave to complete 10 days WFO days. WFH balance will not be affected.
