Full fledged PPTs and Business Cases are being made for initiatives that will be forgotten about in 3 days, everyone trying to appear busy while adding no real value.

Have seen this across multiple departments where people are spending full days doing god knows what.

This activity becomes more frequent after first round of layoffs, post which people are trying to justify their jobs by doing essentially nothing.
