Fake a 2-week leave?

I’m a little tired of my job at the moment and want to properly focus on preparing to switch. I’m almost tempted to fake a dengue test and apply for 2 weeks leave. Should I? (Ps: my job is entirely remote)

Of course. Why is this even a question?

Why have some people voted no? Moral ethics or something else?

Say you're getting married and when you return tell them the bride/groom left you at the mandap cause you lied about your height in the matrimonial site.
Or kill an already dead grandparent. I'm sure they'd be okay with it, and if they're not, we'll, they're dead. Or fake an illness like other losers.

Never lie, never normalise lying. Have an honest conversation and take two weeks PTO.

No. Just tell them you need a wellness break to recharge
