Big startups paying similar to 1+ YOE peeps as they do to freshers in the name of their T1 Colleges and same job title. Experienced peeps do bring a lot to the table 🤷‍♂️

1+ YOE is barely any experience....

And big companies pay T1 college salaries equal to more like 3+ YOE T3 grads in the conservative side

yeah that's what I am saying isn't fair, a 3+ YOE candidate will know a lot more than just DSA, CP which your T1 fresher will know of.

I know companies who go to tier 1 to hire programmers who are from mech and civil and not from tier 2/3 CS just because they are IITians and will be smart enough to pick it up……. Like bruh wtf is bs

If not t1 you're cursed, offer shopping to get better pay is the only doable option.

According to me, I can say that FAANG is definitely overhyped. Sure, these companies offer great salaries and some special perks, but they are not the be-all and end-all of a successful career in tech.

How do you people make so much in your 20s?

You all might obviously guess that I'm speaking about the other two posts in which each of them in their early 20s making 50+ LPA and 70+ LPA respectively.

Honestly curious, how do these guys get paid so much? I feel like salaries in IT...

Which startups(or otherwise) are now paying over 50L for 5 years of exp. Additionally esop or rsu around a 1cr( across 4 years). Can be a little lower(~30%) in the case of listed companies.
