Trending @Infosys; Facing the worst experience
Recently there's been a cut down in project where people are being released, In October I noticed my project code change to bench and when I asked my team lead (consultant) about it, he avoided my questions and later told I'll be staying in the project..
Now, last week he told again they'll be releasing a person from the project and he mentioned my colleague's name, Today I noticed my project code again moved to bench and now he's been avoiding my questions and calls.
We've worked together for more than 2.5 years and I expect atleast the respect to be informed of what's happening to my position in the project.
I got no idea what to do now...
Suggestions are much appreciated
You going on bench or getting ramped down from project is not because of your lead. So why you think he will avoid you. Movement between projects, going to bench in between is very common in Infosys. So no need to be worried about it
You can directly ask your manager
