It's a Good question.. Rossi losing to Lorenzo, on top of that joined Ducati. Simoncelli death. No championship for Dovizioso. No big rivalries like stoner vs rossi or Lorenzo, everyone is so nice to others. Marc dominance in championship (no close calls). Motogp become high performance sports and no entertainment.
On the other hand F1 is sports + entertainment ; moving through personal life of team principles and driver and good rivalry across all levels..
