F Hard Work!

Rahul Gandhi in a rally says this : "The youth who are unemployed and watching Facebook Instagram reels today will be given ₹1,00,000 khatakhat khatakhat!"

Now, I don't know how can someone be an advocate for this kind of statement? I know this won't happen but at least give a proper reason. He is literally saying watch reels and earn.

I really feel privileged that TikTok is banned after hearing this from a leader who is trying to become PM of our country.

Where has he said this bro. Source. You should think about what feku said today but obviously, you support feku due to these statements not inspite of it.

It’s the same words as written in the post in a video format. For how it’s said in the video though, I’m doubting that it was said in a matter of fact manner; seems to be taken out of context.

We are already giving 2000/Month for women in a few states. We are giving 100 days work guarantee. We are giving rice for 1rs in many states. In Kerala they still have "nooku kooli", people are paid for just looking at the work being done. Farmers get everything free.

We are a land of freebies. BTW, how else do you lift the poor?

WigglyMochi

By upskilling them. We are giving free education. Girl students have much more facilities and honestly, superb scheme. But freebies, a big no for economy. I want my tax to do better for the country, by infrastructure and upskilling, it would make a huge impact.
But let's forget about all this, How can a person say that you do nothing and consume content and will get money for free?

Give them capital to start small businesses or help them upskill. Selling fruits on a cart is much better than receiving money takatak while watching reels.

I was half decided on voting for NOTA, but then I changed my mind after reading their manifesto about removing nuclear weapons/leaving defensive alliances/bringing back article 370 and hearing some of Rahul Gandhi's speeches.

What did you find good in his speeches ?

They are good for nothing and dangerous, that's what changed my vote from NOTA.

Be ready to pay more tax if BJP comes to.power again. Less tax for corporates like Ambani and Adani but more tax for the hard earned money of the salaried class. Remember we will lose our jobs by 40-50 because the companies want younger slaves and all the corporates will benefit even more by paying less and less salary.

Ask Birla how much tax he gave during Congress regime. Dude, it was always there. Don't be shocked to see these things. And recession is going on globally, even if congress comes to power, they can't stop recession😂 It's a global effect, mostly by USA and Europe.

Indians have a habit of blaming outsiders for everything that is wrong in the country. If China and Japan and South Korea etc would have said the same, they would also be like India today. And corporate tax was reduced by the BJP government so now individual tax collection is more than the corporate tax collection. Just read this for more clarity https://www.deccanherald.com/opinion/profits-for-corporates-taxes-for-individuals-2889682

It's 100000 in exchange for 1 year apprenticeship. His idea is youth will learn some skill while earning so that he/she can get started in their career. When I say youth think about people from tier3 cities and villages.

FuzzyDonut

Why do we need a government policy for this? Nothing stopping companies from offering apprenticeships now

Why do you need any policy for that matter? Can’t shit just happen automatically?

The vast majority of this platform’s users are completely disconnected from the realities of India’s K-shaped growth

This phenomenon is pushing the poor to higher indebtedness, lower incomes, and higher suffering during the most inflationary times in generations.

On the other hand, you have the other line on the K-graph — represented by this platform’s users — where sab changa si. Incomes are high. Growth is happening. Opportunities are visible. And if not, you’re already wealthy enough to escape to low-tax destinations. These four years since Covid have made you insanely richer.

But at whose cost? The bottom of the pyramid has fallen to pieces. These castles in the air have no foundation.

Whether anyone likes it or not, the world over, the consolidation of wealth in a small number of hands has consequences. The consequence is that basic income is coming. If Congress doesn’t do it, Modi will in some shape or form.

This lopsided-sided K-shaped growth is not sustainable. If there are no basic universal incomes, there’s going to be chaos.

Don’t believe me? Let’s discuss this again in 5 years.

I agree man! But it is a very basic economics rule. It's similar to printing more money to eradicate poverty. Can't happen. Why? Because once you give free money to BPL people, they will buy something and in the end, that same money will reach the big firms and people. Thus, widening the gap.
I am not saying BJP is the solution, I am saying that these free money distribution is not a solution.

GoofyBoba
GoofyBoba

Money was distributed at nearly zero rates to the insanely wealthy for years during the pandemic.

How did that go?

Did you complain about that?

You think there’s no consequences for printing all that money just to feed the rich?

What did the rich do? They bought yachts and airplanes. There were stock buybacks.
Stock markets boomed. Rents went sky-high. Every asset class hit a new ATH. Crypto went insane. Corporate profits soared to record highs.

And alongside that, unemployment and inflation hit generational highs. The rich got richer, the poor got poorer.

There are no easy solutions to this problem. If you think Modi isn’t also going to hand out cash himself, man, read something other than Whatsapp forwards saying sab changa si.

Universal income and wealth distribution will have to be done because the bourgeoisie will never understand what it’s like to starve.
