Trending @Cognizant; Eye opener and funny exit survey
For the previous 4-5 months, I was not particularly enjoying the project I was allocated to. After placing me on PDP (because of my previous project ramp-down), Cognizant assigned me roles and responsibilities that are far too dissimilar from my more than six years of experience.
They push resources into different business unit lines regardless of their prior expertise, which is completely unethical. They will ask you to compel your resignation and accuse you of missing the opportunity if you respond negatively!
Because my situation is similar to the one mentioned above, I decided to grind myself and focus on improving my technical skills.
Thankfully, after being turned down several times, I have got an opportunity where they recognised my skills and offered me a 120% hike.
Note: I am continuously chasing mangers to get an early release but seems tough at the moment.
Keep hustling and stay happy because when it comes to business nobody cares!!
Cheers🥂

Leaving a toxic culture is best feeling.
