Today I got EY offer letter. This is my first job switch. Only fixed compensation is mentioned. On call he confirmed it will be 8 -16% variable. Also please guide what else I need to check before accepting the offer. I didn't get the salary structure yet. Should I ask for the salary structure first before accepting? Tech stack Gen AI.

Yes, joining date (flexibility), variable percentage, salary breakdown, insurance, benefits, leaves, probation, notice period, relocation bonus, joining bonus if any, working conditions/rules, client conflicts for future etc. All these should be checked.
