Ey interview Process

I gave an interview for EY after 2 rounds of interview hr called me and discussed the salary package post that I haven't received any communication from them and one week later hr send me candidates info sheet and asked to fill hr Said he got approval for offer and he ll release it soon But it's been a week and I haven't received any update from EY and when I checked in the career portal it was showing bg verification is in progress but suddenly today it was showing it is with the hiring team phase of our interview process

I tried calling hr but he isn't responding How to proceed now? Is it how this process works or what?
