My current take-home is 15 LPA (13.5 + 1.5) – CL10 with 6.4 years of total experience.

How much of a hike can I ask for if I’m switching externally (to a service-based company)?

Is 21 LPA fixed okay, or should I ask for more?

I have nearly the same salary but I got only 14k in nov as variable out of 2.8 variable

You can ask for 21 LPA no problem in that. If they have the budget they will give it else they will let you. Just one thing if you really performed well in your technical round and the interviewee gave good feedback then you have more chances of getting what you have desired for. Best wishes from my side.
