Trending @Accenture; Extended Work Hours and Productivity Expectations at Accenture
Hello all
During a recent internal discussion, it was mentioned that daily working hours may increase from 9 to 10 hours, while productivity expectations would remain aligned with earlier norms (when effective as 7 work hours as 10 were lower).
There was no indication of a change in compensation structure.
From a general industry perspective, is this approach sustainable? Have others seen similar shifts, and what impact did it have on productivity, employee well-being, or overall outcomes?
Any thoughts on how such changes are usually handled constructively would be appreciated.
What are reasonable ways employees can approach or address this?

Yes in your project , our shift is 12 PM - 10 PM. Management say that you can only take 1 hr break ( 30 minutes Lunch - 30 minutes dinner ) and then your shift becomes 9 hrs shift 😂

So will we be paid as per 10 hours working?
Because that is atleast 11% hike instantly
