Export business from India

If I want to export my products from India to other countries, is it necessary that I visit those countries to connect with buyers or I can make connections from India itself virtually?

Depends a lot on the sector , scale and geography. But what many do is that they start through a agents/import export companies who help in clearing initial hurdles and connections and once they learn the process and get a track record they directly interact with the buyers . And then is when you want to scale volumes or new buyers - travel is suggested
