Exploring Remote Work Options from Europe Due to Spouse’s Assignment
I am currently in the C3B band with over 13 years of experience. My wife, who comes from a research background, has recently received a two-year contract offer in Europe. I would like to explore if there is any possibility or exception that would allow me to work remotely from Europe without changing my current payroll. I will be on a dependent visa that permits me to work in Europe as well. At this point, I do not intend to relocate permanently, as I have ageing parents in India and wish to remain closely connected to them.
You can use your laptop in Europe, but if you are working for a client project, then your Europe IP will be logged which will send alarms. It is too tricky, but you need to connect using a VPN and on a personal laptop if you are using VDI. If you don't have client commitment, then it should be fine.
If you are in Europe, you cannot swipe. So technically you will not get any pay in India and you will be working for free for TCS
Only the variable will be deducted, isn't it. How is it working for free?
