Exploring Career Options After 5 Years in QA Manual and Automation

I have 5 years of experience in QA manual and automation. Recently, management informed me that there is no future for my role in the current project. A similar situation has occurred for two of my colleagues, and I have heard the same news from three of my friends, both in India and the US. The role of a tester, which typically comes at the end of the SDLC, is significantly impacted by optimization techniques employed by companies.
