Experience and Salary
My total experience as well as experience in TCS is 12 .5 years have got 1 D ,2 C,4 B ,4 A bands . Last 3 consecutive bands were A. Got 11% hike this time . My current designation is C3A. What should be my approx CTC ideally ?
It should atleast be 2*yrs minimum ideally it should have been around 30 atleast.
Not sure if it's true for a person who has not switched any time
That’s correct but there opportunities available for associates like wings2 which can help match with the market for the role handled by that particular associate.No where in a service based MNC, the companies will give exceptional hikes.It is us who have to try to make most of the opportunities provided for salary revisions or else atleast try for some nearshore/on-site opportunities.Nothing is provided until asked.You can also talk with manager for salary revision, if you have dependency on the project they themselves will provide with all the said possibilities. THE BEST THING FOR SALARY REVISION IS SWITCH.With the experience mentioned he/she can easily get atleast 20 LPA for a jump assuming he is not from a niche tehcnology whereas a niche technology would increase the ctc mutlifolds.
I have talked to manager about resigning , he just said if you had some offer in hand he would have tried to convince the manager ,but since I had no offer in hand so he has got no base to talk to the HR. Also he proposed to send me to UK onsite for 2 years in Jan 2025. What should I do ?
Onsite is a lollypop. Still, try your best and start searching for new opportunities.
