How do you track your expenses and budget? I would like to track all my monthly/yearly spending like grocery, ott subs, credit card bills and categorise them into different categories. Is there any such app/tool/template which you're using for tracking and has been helpful.
I searched and found a few notion/excel templates but none of them were good enough.

Try Cashew app in Play Store. Its open source. You can add custom category and sub categories. I love the sub category option. Exporting to CSV is free.

based on my experience of using multiple tracking apps and the time spent logging the expenses, i would say manually logging is too hard to be kept as a habit for long time. every time i miss logging the expenses for few days it ends up as a huge task to update all the backlog.
i would suggest to try - Fold Money App
they are a statement aggregator and it’s pretty easy to setup and you’ll get a hang of if in few days. no need to manually track, just have to tag untagged transactions, then you are good to go.

Idk if you'd like this application - but use an appointment called "Meow Manager", you can pretty much do everything you wanna do there, it's free (Ads), also has a paid version that i didn't try, as you asked you can sort expenses into diff categories, and even set automatic addition or deduction. Main plus is the cat kinda aesthetic. Do let me know if you like this application.
