Expected salary
I joined tcs as a fresher with 3.5lpa. after 5 yrs what will be my salary approximately? Also if I go for mba after 2 yrs with lwp, then what will be my salary after mba completion?
Best case scenario:
Year 1: 7LPA - If you clear Wings1 digital then your compensation would be doubled, this would take around a year or so.
Year 2: 12LPA - If you clear innovator coding challenge.
Year 3: 13.5LPA - If you get A band.
Year 4: 15LPA - ITA promotion
Year 5: 16LOA - Wings 2 PP1 completion along with annual appraisal.
All the above calculation also included annual appraisals.
P.S.: This is the best case scenario but 99% people dint make this best case because it is random I would say, depends on your luck. But clearing digital is easy in a year or two so ideally you could target around 12-14 LPA by year 5 along with ITA promotion.
My advice: if you don’t have any option then do join TCS and give your best and clear digital, then switch to another company, you’ll get around 100% hike.

You joined as fresher right.. I think you have atleast in bench 6 months...and TCS it has big politics in project... First year they will gives C band in your project, next year they will be gives B or A depend upon your work
A band it hikes--> 7 % of your salary
B band it hikes--> 3 to 4 %
C band it hikes--> 2 to 3 %
D band it reduce you salary in 50k
I am kindly request to freshers, pls don't join to TCS as fresher.. you have a chance to work another company has fresher.. you can join to those companies... TCS worest management in our India
Based on your Banding it depends max of 5 to 6 lpa
