Expected CTC for a cloud engineer?
I have like 4.9 years of experience in mainframe domain with current CTC 8.3lpa . Now I have attended trainings and wanted to shift to Azure with cleared 2 azure certifications. How much can I expect from my new company?.
Is expecting 16lpa a little too much?
Should we not go beyond 100% hike even if that company provides more for that role?
What's the standard? Should we have separate expectations from service & product based companies?
Please help.

First , depends on what kind of cloud engineer you are taking of , if it's monitoring the range in different from operations or platform engg, Most people on my team with that level experience are making around 9 to 17lpa across different skills. But there's difference between doing certs and having "expertise" (not just experience but actual expertise) ... if however you can Crack the interview very well you can expect 100% no such standard highest i had rolled out was 112% , it's all market (demand supply) and talent driven. So if you feel you killed it in the interview and you are getting lots of calls you can very much quote 100%+ but also be prepared to answer "why so high" ...

Expecting 16lpa is decent I'd say, but in the current market it's slightly difficult. You can ask product companies for that but I doubt if service based companies give a 100% hike
