Exit Policy Idea for TCS (for limited time)
Imagine a structured exit framework where associates who wish to move on can seek project-level approval, and TCS provides a severance package equivalent to their years of service in TCS
- Associates transition with dignity and financial support
- TCS strengthens its employer brand and reduces silent attrition
- Creates a genuine win-win for both organization and employees
Such a policy could set a benchmark in the industry for progressive people practices. What are your thoughts – should TCS explore this approach?

I think you are missing the main point. Purpose of layoffs is to remove employees who don't want to leave rather than making it easy for employees who want to leave.

The product manager like you is the one who sacrifices your employees to save your own ass. You are coming telling Idea?.

Sorry. TCS is now unofficially a Lala company. And Lala companies don't work that way. Dignity, brand value etc are gibberish for them.
For every person they terminate, there are 10 freshers waiting in queue to join TCS. So no one will bother.

TCS wont pay severance
