Exit opportunities for a senior SWE
I'm an IC SWE with 8.5 years of experience across startups and big tech. Lately, I've lost all motivation to work on meaningless projects for mega corps. It's so mind-numbing that I want to leave this field ASAP.
Can you suggest some exit opportunities for my skillset to build a more meaningful career? Money doesn't matter anymore, and I'm willing to take a serious pay cut.

Find what you love and then do what you love . It's usually the thing that you would still do if not paid for it. That's the only thing that works . No amount of money will save the misery otherwise. I recognised this during my college years and pivoted to data science. Best decision ever. Also the best bet of discovery will be a good mid sized product corp , good enough responsibility but not the hectic downside of small startups.
