Is it really that hard to get exceptions approved? 🤔
Just curious to hear from folks at L9 and above — is the exception approval process always this tricky, or is it just my team?
Scenario: I’m on leave for 4 days. On the 5th day, I log in for a project-critical delivery. Do I really need to go to office that day too? And if I don’t, does that mean I must raise an exception?
Also, what if I just want to visit my hometown — does that also fall under “exception territory”? 🏡
In my case, my TL loves to double-check everything with HR, even the tiniest queries. Is that just standard practice everywhere, or am I just lucky to have an extra “by-the-book” TL? 😅
I have checked with others in different projects as well...manager level...even they are saying the same...in a week if you are on leave for 4days and working for 1 day you need to go to the office...I don't understand the logic but this has been monitored by business hr and they are sending email even project manager were also not to be contacted before sending the warning email
